Outlook
We see things from an observant viewpoint. The ultimate posek is the Sepharade Chief Rabbinate. Of course each community's minhaj is respected and there will be no value judgements as to the correctness of halakha.

Visit Beth Elohim of Queens page for Black American Chief Rabbi.
He is from the oldest West African American community using Sefer Torah and siddur.

Focus
Hagba at Shomrei Mitsvot Though not exclusive of others, our dedication is to the returnees from the West Afrikan Diasporan communities. Most of us were tiniqoth shenishbah from anusiym. Some families have never lost their way, others were completely shorn of all identity. It's a great misswah to save a soul in 'Am Yisrael. Slaves are to be redeemed and returnees encouraged.
